Life story
Village Mayor of Schimborn
Johann Peter Rosenberger was born around 1645 in Heidenfeld, in the Prince-Bishopric of Würzburg (now Germany), son of Wilhelm Rosenberger, one of the settlers who helped repopulate Schimborn after the devastation of the Thirty Years' War. Johann Peter served as Schultheiß, the village's mayor, in both 1692 and 1718. He died around 1725 in Schimborn.
