Life story
A Simsbury Executor
Thomas Holcomb was born December 13, 1690, in Simsbury, Connecticut, son of the militia captain Thomas Holcomb, and married there in October 1714. He was trusted by his neighbors to handle estate matters, inventorying John Cooper's estate in 1732 and witnessing John Higley's will in 1741. Thomas wrote his own will in September 1770, naming a daughter, Mary.
