Life story

A Long Life in Indiana

Elizabeth Weber was born around 1824 in Landstuhl, Bavaria, and emigrated to Dearborn County, Indiana, around 1843, where she married John Hahn and later farmed in Decatur County. In her later years she became physically disabled and eventually bedridden, but the family marked her eightieth and eighty-first birthdays with large gatherings of her children and grandchildren in 1903 and 1905. Elizabeth died at home in Greensburg, Indiana, on February 2, 1907.
