Life story

From Niagara to Illinois

Elizabeth Schram was born August 9, 1791, in Grantham, near Niagara, Upper Canada (or possibly New York), and married Reziah Force in December 1808 in Louth Township, Upper Canada. Unable to read or write, she moved west with her family in later life, recorded in 1850 living in Iroquois County, Illinois, in her son Nathaniel's household. Elizabeth died April 24, 1857, in Momence, Kankakee County, Illinois.
