Elizabeth Force was born on March 19, 1818, in Woodbury, Brant County, Upper Canada, and married Benjamin Kipp on April 20, 1836, in Burford Township, where the couple raised their family, including their son Isaac Kipp, who would go on to help found Chilliwack, British Columbia. Elizabeth lived in Burford Township for the rest of her life and died there on September 14, 1881.
