Life story

A Palmer's River Gift

Elizabeth Wilson was born July 8, 1706, in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, daughter of Benjamin Wilson, and married Edward Carpenter there in August 1724. Her father gave the couple parcels of land along the Palmer River in Rehoboth in 1733 and 1735, totaling some fifty-eight acres. Elizabeth died April 24, 1791, in either Swansea, Massachusetts, or Guilford, Vermont.
