Life story

Crossing on the Diligent

Judith “Julian” Adcocke was baptized February 11, 1599, in Attleborough, Norfolk, England, and married in October 1620 at Eaton St. Andrew, Norwich. In 1638 she emigrated to Massachusetts aboard the ship Diligent with her husband and children, arriving in Boston that August, and later settled in Rehoboth, Plymouth Colony, where she was buried in June 1678.
