A Rehoboth Carpenter

John Sutton was baptized July 14, 1594, in Great Snoring, Norfolk, England, and worked as a carpenter, living in Suffolk and Norfolk before sailing for Massachusetts in 1638 aboard the ship Diligent with his wife and children, arriving in Boston that August. He settled first in Hingham and later in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, where he died June 1, 1672.
