A New York Bride in Ohio

Sarah Sally Jones was born on July 20, 1808, in New York, the daughter of Russell Jones and Sarah “Sally” Whitman, and married Nelson Hayes on February 15, 1832, later settling with him in Jackson Township, Allen County, Ohio. She died on October 21, 1872.
