Life story
An Irish Immigrant Farmer
John Walker emigrated from Ireland to the United States in 1785 and purchased 150 acres of unimproved land in Washington Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where he settled and raised his family. He died in Pennsylvania in 1845.
