Life story

A Greenwich Constable

John Mead was born August 15, 1658, in Stamford, Connecticut, son of John Mead, and married in Stamford in October 1681. He purchased land in Greenwich, Connecticut, in 1683 and served the town as constable. John died in Greenwich on May 12, 1693.
